Specimen Required


Container/Tube: Sterile collection container

Specimen Volume: 3 g

Collection Instructions: Collect specimen into the same sterile collection container until 3 g of meconium have been collected or until the first milk stool appears. When at least 3 g of meconium has been collected, tightly screw on the cap of the collection vial and send specimen ambient.

Note: Specimens from different voids may be pooled if necessary.
